Not sure. One might deduce the following though;

2 "reichs marks" would have probably been the 3rd Reichs name of this
currency equal to Deutschmarks the unit of German currency before the Euro adoption, had this panned out.

Thus, giving it a monetary value.
So it may very well have peen some sort of prototype.

None of the "tokens" on the posted site have the word "mark" on them.

I am not a historian though so don't quote me on it.

Re: Hitler Coin

Well, it appears to say Mark.
So to deduce further;

There would be no reason to put the word "mark" anywhere on such an item unless it was intended to have some sort of monetary value.

That would be like writing dollar on a silver round with a previous president on it.

Thus, I would lean towards saying, from my deductions only, it is some sort of prototype. If not an actual coin.

Again, I am no historian so don't quote me on it.

You should post this topic on Cointalk.org ...they have a lot of knowledgeable numismatists there and can probably identify your piece.

From what I read I got the idea that this was an actual coin in circulation for a few years during this time period.
Yet, due to the war much of the silver was melted down for other purposes.
